Proximity alert is very nice feature introduced in Feature Pack 3. If you want to set an alert to be displayed on the shopping cart based on the cart value, it can be done using Proximity alert. For example, if there is a promotion on the purchase of more than 100$ and cart value is between 50-99$, display a message to the customer notifying about the promotion.
